I'm using 2.5.x too. This is not the linking command line, this is compiler invocation which is passing some things to the linker, You need to know what exactly is being called, for e.g ld.gold etc. Pass "--verbose" to the clang and see what things clang is exactly doing, this will also show You the linker invocation.
