The protobuf format is the same on all platforms and in all languages.  This
is one of the design goals.

Hi,

I am trying to use protobuf to exchange data between program running
on unix and another running on windows. Could someone help and tell if
I can use the files genreated by protobuf on unix, on windows  or I
should generate them on windows too?
