I spent some time earlier this year putting together some (very) basic
bindings between the proton-c Messenger API and node.js (
https://github.com/pofallon/node-qpid). However, a pure JS implementation
would be even better!

It's on the roadmap to invest in for a number of organizations (some sooner
than others), and I know some work has been done to integrate proton-c into
nodejs, however I don't know of anyone currently working directly on a pure
javascript implementation.
