[Prototype-core] Re: New Name for Users Group (RoR Spinoffs)

2008-06-19 Thread Christophe Porteneuve

My question is, when users search Scriptaculous in Google, don't they
get script.aculo.us results? 'course they do, tons of it, and the
dot-split mark appears as an actual match.

So I think we should preserve the spelling (I know it's dear to Thomas)
and not worry about it, I'm pretty convinced it's a non-issue.

I don't think people are actually going to do a search for
script.aculo.us. At least I don't.

I agree. The working title I have for the group right now, taking in
all of the comments so far in various threads, is the boring-but-
probably-appropriate Prototype Scriptaculous with a group comment
giving each URL.

My vote is for Super Thunderbots Attack Squadron 3000

If no one votes for that though, I'd settle for Prototype and Scriptaculous
Users

So we need to think of a new name. I made a suggestion in the thread,

Tobie suggested we should discuss the name here. What do you think?
