A little late to this thread and maybe I missed something somewhere,
so please ignore me if I have, but without core support (or at least
mention of resources like this from the core prototype site) people
won't find these resources.  It took me long enough to find scripteka
back in the day because there was no "official" recognition of it.  If
core doesn't start linking to these sites or at least make them easier
to find, they'll all fall by the side eventually along with
prototype.  So collaboration with core I see as being a must at this
point for both parties involved.

Prototype is useful for what it does, but plugins/widgets built on top
of prototype make it even more useful, but if people don't see them,
off they go to another javascript lib.

Saying that, so far the wiki looks good.
