Hi all, I know this might not be the right forum to post this question but i need advice anyway. The application im developing has 2 things giving me a real headache, there is a default chemicals list without values which will be used for first time entry. User can either add to the list new chemicals or delete an entry, once they enter values & save, that entry will be used for the next entry as a template. Second item is the template. The template unlike the list has values the user can edit. Further more the user can add to the template new chemicals with figures or delete an entry(chemical). Once the template is saved it will be used as a template for the next entry, and the cycle continues. When im adding chemicals with or without values its becoming quite combersome in mentainance more so when there's a bug, again the use of session variables to store newly added chemicals with all their properties is becoming a tricky affair although it is working. With this in mind im looking at 3 options, xml, json or retain the structure considering that prototype functions request & updater are in use, all the information is displayed using tables. Which way do i go? I need your advice.
