Hi Frank,
there is a limit if the request is GET. This limit is around 2500 char
(don't remember the exact length).
This is a browser limitation, not prototype one.

But in case you are in a POST request, there should have no
limitation !

Couls you send us more info on this problem, like the code, an exemple
of data that don't work, and if possible, a live example.
