I am reasonably new to Prototype and script.aculo.us but I have a project where dragging and dropping are crucial elements of the solution. Ghosting would make the drag-n-drop even better, but on IE7 everything I've tried - including the samples - generates "Object does not support this action" messages in IE on line 413 of dragdrop.js.
I've tried running script.aculo.us 1.8.1 with the included Prototype and also with the 1.8.1 Prototype with no luck for either.
