My approach would be something like:

$$('.className').observe() is not correct, because observe() is
expecting a single element, whereas invoke() takes the entire array of
I guess you can do something like:
funcToCall(event){
var o = Event.element(event); //and that's the object who was been
mouseovered X)
}
