GNU/Linux para O Pobo
Saúdos a todos: Estes dÃas estamos tendo conversas, a nivel institucional, para que Galiza teña o seu propio SO, convencendo para elo a quen fór preciso. Adxunto un documento para que saibades da ambición desde proxecto, as súas liñas xerais, etc. (Perdoade que aÃnda só dispoña de versión en castelán) Un cordial saúdo, Roberto Brenlla -- Usuario GNU/Linux # 124.437 *GNU/Linux para o Pobo* Hola Linuxeros de Galicia: Me presento, soy Roberto Brenlla, economista y linuxero desde septiembre del '97. Desde entonces a hoy lo he probado (casi) todo lo referente a soft libre: mi primera slack-3.5, redhat, debian, mandrake, gentoo, lfs, los *BSD y ya paro porque las nombrar?a a casi todas. Basta decir que en los ?ltimos diez d?as prob? una docena, todas raras (no top list). Todas con maravillas y con deficiencias, seg?n la finalidad que uno persiga. Todas, de momento, con cosas en com?n (kernel, soft GNU, escritorios...). Tratar? de exponer la finalidad de este mensaje, siempre con lo que hasta ahora est? propuesto y desde un prisma de Econom?a Social, sin ?nimo de lucro. Analizando la revoluci?n inform?tica de anta?o, vemos que las administraciones, p?blicas y privadas, quisieron aprovechar los conocimientos inform?ticos en PC que los usuarios dom?sticos ya ten?an para, ahorrando costes en formaci?n, disponer de tarbajadores h?biles con las herramientas de oficina que los 'nuevos' tiempos exig?an. En cierta ocasi?n, publiqu? un log en Barrapunto en el que expon?a que la actual revoluci?n debe ser OPUESTA en su direcci?n: no del usuario a la administraci?n, sino de la administraci?n al usuario. Pensemos en la infructuosa y desalentadora labor que supone captar a nuevos linuxeros desde 'Hasefroch' (ojo, usuarios normales, no inform?ticos). S?, como mucho, apoyos morales y comprensi?n pero poca actuaci?n. Con este panorama, nos hemos reunido un grupo inicial de trabajo con la idea de crear un GNU/Linux para o Pobo Galego. Estamos manteniendo contactos con instituciones p?blicas, autoridades... con el objeto de lograr apoyo p?blico y espero que tambi?n financiero que sean suficientes para lograrlo. El contar con el apoyo, al menos moral, de los grupos linuxeros gallegos es para nosotros esemcial, ?c?mo podremos promover el SL en las instituciones sino? Si, adem?s algunos, aunque pocos, se implican, pues ?genial!. ?Oja?a sea tambi?n posible disponer de m?s profesionales cualificados: inform?ticos, traductores, dise?adores gr?ficos, gestores, formadores...! El objetivo ... para o Pobo... es n?tido, no as? tanto el c?mo. Est? claro que *debe* resultar f?cil al usuario base: sin preguntas sobre particiones, sin saber qu? es eso de 'montar'... Hay a quien para hacer fotos le gusta jugar con lentes, enfoques... y otros que s?lo quieren pulsar un bot?n para sacarla. Creo que entendemos todos a qu? refiero. Lograr que est? en Gallego es algo que puede atraer a las Instituciones, eso s?, gallego *normalizado*. Es m?s, espero que dichas traducciones sean supervisadas por expertos fil?logos con el fin de garantizar la correcta traducci?n: sin 'castellanismos' ni 'lusismos'. Tambi?n ya hay algunos. Sin embargo, tenemos ideas, puestas en marcha, en lo referente al c?mo. Y lo b?sico, tambi?n muy n?tido, es que, al igual que el soft libre, estamos abiertos a cualquier idea, sin prejuicios ni verdades m?ximas irrebatibles. Por ejemplo, me llama mucho la atenci?n que Galicia tenga su propia distro, no una basada en. ?Ser? as?? Por lo que ya he contactado, parece mucho m?s atractivo e incluso un desaf?o tecnol?gico... De acuerdo, algunos opinar?is que es mejor tal o cual, es m?s f?cil, es m?s r?pido... Quiz? sea preferible un 'feto' durante dos a?os y engendrar una maravilla tras este tiempo o un 'make world' que te deje super optimizado tu sistema y no s?lo para i386... o, como sabremos qu? es lo que tendr? el escritorio para o pobo, instalar exclusivamente lo que queremos sin dependencias que engorden en no s? cuantos megas algo que o pobo no usar? jam?s. Lo que sea, incluyendo consultas a los que usen 'Hasefroch', ***ABIERTOS DE MENTE, como LIBRE TAMBI?N ES EL PROYECTO GNU***. Bien, para ser una visi?n de presentaci?n, ha sido muy extensa. Pronto os pondr? al d?a de los pasos que esta oportunidad para o Pobo amparada por las instituciones puede representar. De momento, vuestro parecer o vuestro apoyo moral ser?, no lo dud?is, bien recibido. Una web muy b?sica estar? pronto disponible con un contenido semejante a lo aqu? expuesto. Cuando dispongamos de la imagen del Linux para o pobo(no hay prisa y s? deseo de calidad profesional), reformularemos definitivamente toda la web. Os informar?.
