Hey Rob, and whoever else is working on the new 360 module! Can we haz a battery pack?
The Runcams have a "working power" of 3.25 W each, so our 6 camera pack has a power draw of a whopping 20 W. That's like more than OreSat, but that's fine, we don't even care. We'll need at least 20 W * 1 hour = 20 Wh pack. I suggest a 4S1P pack, so that's a nominal 14.4 V, so that's a pack of at least 1.5 Ah. This assumes we can turn this thing on and off remotely. If we can't do that, then we'll need more like 6 hours of video, which raises the pack to 9 Ah which is getting to be a giant pack. So let's make it remotely operable, which means we need some electronics on board, which is fine. Let's be sure to chat on Tuesday of next week!
