Thanks but now the only 2 solutions, changing my machine with used Mc machine that runs Lion, or, selling my mac and forget the idea. The problem is that in Egypt if a studion runs pro tools, it's a big studioand if not, it's not a professional studio, this is the market, unfortunate. God Help.

Someone on here stated taht the issue still persist in Mavericks. Slau also said talks regarding accessibility with Avid were scheduled to pick up again at some point. If you can afford a used mac book pro without selling the new mac running ML then by all means go for it. I'd recommend a 15 pro

Odd, I just did this on both a brand new MacBook air, and a quod core Mac Mini with 16gb of ram. Both machines upgraded perfectly. I created my USB drive as a bootable drive, and booted to it. Then under disk utilities, I opted to format my machine, and completed whipped mountain lion off of the

Ramy, I felt the same way that you do, like you need to have PT to be considered a viable studio, but I am coming to the terms that that is not always the case. I find that maybe 2% of clients, if even that many, even ask what softwhere is being used. They mainly just want a clean recording

Yep, on the solo guitar lyx on the secont verse I would bring the pan closer to the senter by maybe 10% and turn it down a DB or two and see how that sounds. When that guitar comes in it is so noticeable that it was distracting to me. I will take it into my control room later and take a listen
