Hi, I agree totally. I meant if they say to click on the blue button that
means nothing to me but if they can tell me what it is called that would be
better. Are they good at explaining things where as I know voiceover I should
be able to follow what they are saying? Nick Gawronski

I don't think you'd ever get an instruction like click on the blue button.
You might be told click on a pop-up menu that displays a word like waveform
where, under Pro Tools 10, that control says track display, pop-up button but
that's only what VoiceOver reads. In actuality, what's written
Does anybody on the list use CD burning programs outside of Itunes that are
accessible on the Mac? I have tried to infasize to my clients that they should
be trying to bring thumb drives, but so many still don't. I end up shuffling

Why not just burn discs right from the Finder? Throw the stuff in a folder,
right-click and choose burn. Any reason why that won't work for your needs?

Protools war path and that is all I know on the Mack for the most part, but I
think your instructions are clear enough.

Hi Poppa
I use WaveBurner which shipped with logic pro.

Talk soon
YMMV

Ah, I see. Yes, it is pretty straight-forward once you try it. There are a few
utilities in the App Store for burning discs but I haven't tried any. There was
an old freeware program simply called Burn which works well if you can find
it. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you a
Hello Papa,
I did a demo on burning a CD through Finder.
If you search the archives I am sure it will be there.
If you can't find it, I'll try and find the file and DropBox it to you.

this is new to me, the Finder lets you burn audio disks? or does the finder
just burned the wave datafiles to the disk? And if so, does a standard CD
player read way files as audio encoded PCM files?
