Hi,
Just a smallish problem with calling the nectar or rather Izotope support: I
live in Sweden, Izotope as far as i know is in the U.S. It's gonna be a tad
expensive to call them for this, since it probably will be quite a longish
phone call. I'll see how i can solve the problem though. Thanks
Hiya Krister,
No worries about the questions, although I think you could possibly
answer a lot of your own questions by just getting stuck in.
Have fun,

Hi i have read the manual for the Digi003 now and it was a really interesting
read. There’s one thing that wasn’t mentioned in the manual that i wonder if
someone with a 003 may know: Is it possible to change plugin presets from the
Digi003? That could help some with the other questions about

Hi,
I use pro tools since mai of this year and have follow some webbinars but I
will purchase an alternative pluginsuite than Spectrasonic that is more
accessible for us. Are here members who have tips for me and ideas for an
alternative vst or midisuite with great sounds and plugins.
Hey folks. After over 2 years of struggling i’m happy to say that i’m finally
airborn, that is i have recorded my first 2 tracks in Protools 11, a piano
instrument track and an organ, also instrument track. Of course there follows a
stupid question again, can a track be recorded without being

Why are we trading? How about a .tfx repository somewhere we can all contribute
to?
I can start a dropbox or something.

Hey folks.
I was curious if anyone was successful using the Time Compression Expansion
tool while editing. To my knowledge, a sighted person would drag regions right
or left and the audio would stretch and compress to fill in the space.
I've tried to enable the tool and do some editing, but
Chuck,
I think you misunderstood the original intent of the post.
The request was to trade preset files. Meaning, if I've created preset
files for a plug you have that doesn't have an accessible method for
utilizing presets, I'd give you my TFX files and boom, you have
accessible presets as well.
I think that it is just for the presets? Maybe I'm wrong

Hi Kevin,
The tool is highly graphic in nature and the shape of the tool plus its
function changes depending upon where in relation to the region it is situated.
However, the plug-in parameters of the TCE plug-in are, from my recollection,
accessible.

Hi Krister,
Yes, the plug-in parameters appear across the encoder knobs and buttons. The
bad news is, since they're on the control surface, it's not accessible to be
able to read which knob or button is controlling which parameter but but the
good news is that, once you've had sighted
Hmm, that approach with hotspots etc is worth a try. Has to be looked at.
However, that has to be looked at as soon as i understand why when i record and
despite having the metronome on, when i do the next track the whole thing seems
to drift. I think i'm on the beat of the metronome and yet
Hi Kevin Slau,
Heres my notes on how to do TCE. :)
Steps for expanding or compressing audio to time line TCE steps below.
Step # 1 make sure your audio is selected make start and end selection in the
transport window.
Step #2 unlink time line and edit selection; found also under the options
Hi Krister,
The hotspots method works good I've been preaching hotspots since 2011.
Like Slau said its time consuming but if you document your parameters when you
do this you always have a list of parameters to use if you need to recall what
the heck does this thing do! LOL

Unfortunately that may be the case. When not used to playing in time with a
metronome it can be very startling to see how off our timing really is.
