Oh, I absolutely am using USB, as I have nothing else. . I had temporarily forgotten what "Port 1" and "Port 2" signified. In other DAW's I see choices like "DAW-1" and "DAW" without the 1, and they mean different things, one of which is transport controls, which of course do not apply in PT.

Hi John, That hasn't been my experience, although I sometimes find that groups have inexplicably been suspended but it's not a chronic issue. BTW, you can simply press Command+Option+3 to set the keyboard focus to groups and press Command+Shift+g to toggle the suspension. HTH > On Apr 24,
