No worries at all. The Avid Control application isn’t accessible on the iPad.
While I haven’t tried the desktop version, I suspect it might not be friendly

Hi Steve. Thanks for your reply earlier this week. That’s great you can use the
dock without an iPad and that the Avid S1 is accessible. I know you said the
iOS version of the ProTools control app isn’t accessible. Is the desktop
version? I’ve been reading a couple PDF guides for the Avid S1
Behavior hasn’t changed it still works the same way. Occasionally, system
automation experiences a glitch in the way it interprets timing between
keystrokes. A couple of quick fixes, one of which should work:
• Quit and restart VoiceOver
•Save, quit and reopen session file.
• Open Flo Tools
What OS are you running? This should definitely still be possible. Make sure
that pre and post roll are displayed in the edit window. Also you may need to
change your double tap timeout setting

Previously it was possible to double press a keystroke in FloTools for a number
of functions.
Double press option-shift-S would unsolo all tracks that was in solo mode. Same
worked for option-shift-M and all muted tracks and option-shift-R for all
record armed tracks. It was also possible
Pro tools does open in Sonoma now, but voiceover is pretty unreliable and has
some very nasty bugs, to the point that I would not recommend anyone be on it
for a production machine, or for that matter even a non-production machine.
