Thanks for the idea but there is no lock showing in the voice over utility its just asking me for the password when I try to tick the box to allow apple scripts to control voice over. Its a very strange thing. Is anyone else here on yosemite still? Its hardly just a bug in this OS version is it?

Hi Brian, Have you tried unlocking the section of system preferences your in. IE un lock the bottom right hand corner of the window. Usually it asks for a pass word when you try to un-lock the preff pane, to make changes so check this out and see? Talk soon Chuck On Feb 17, 2017, at 4:33 PM,

Hi Steve, Thanks for the idea, I only have one password setup, and its not actually that its rejecting the password , its just when I enter it the box remains unchecked...strange. I have no password set on the other machine on which I installed flo tools with out problems. I'm not great around

Thanks for the swift reply Slau, Well, I seem to have two problems possibly interrelated. 1. I run the installer, where by it speaks to please wait etc, and then voice over speaks that there's a stop button in focus, and then voice over jus returns focus back to the FloTools master folder from
