I would definitely say that would need to be through ultrasound. But the

Most of the ultrasound devices today have even an output jack that you could
probably tap into to get the sound.
If they want to charge you for a trip to the Lab for such a thing then try
contacting a local Midwife or Doula to see if they have a device and might be
willing to do it for you.
