Hi All,
I'm starting a job in April where they are using ProTools 10. I
believe that version 11 was the first to be truly accessible, but can
anyone tell me how usable 10 was, and, as I'm learning with 12.4, what
are the most important changes in operation from 10 to 12?

Hello folks,
I know that we have a documentation folder with the protools documentation
in it. And I know where to get the pdf file for the reference guide, but I
was wondering if anyone had a text copy of this guide because I would like
to read it on my braille note taker, and because the
Brian, why not just load it into QRead or Acrobat or an OCR program
and save as text. Out of those I recommend QRead. It's extremely fast
and does a great job.

I just went to software update and installed Maverick straight from there.
The MacBook already had ProTools 10 on so I just left it.
The iMac had ProTools 10.37 so I uninstalled it and reinstalled ProTools 10
from a Disc.
Maybe I should just uninstall both of them and try installing them both
Thank you Slau,
I think for now I’m best going back to lion till I find out the new update.

I don’t know if its just me but, I installed Maverick on my macbook pro and my
iMac and everything seemed ok till I installed protools 10.
On the macbook pro, for some reason it keeps coming on and going off, and on
the iMac I get a message saying that there is a problem opening ProTools
compatible but that
won't be released for several weeks.

Hi folks,
I wonder could someone clarify something. Will Protools 10 run on Mountain
lion? If no, is it possible to, as it were, create a lion partition on either
the main hard disk or an external HD?
Thanks in advance,

Will pro tools run on ML. Yes, however ML Voiceover and Protools does
not play nice at the moment. Short answer if you plan to use pro tools
with voice over then you need to run it under lion. Yes it will run in
a lion partition on your main disc

Lovely, that's all I needed to know. Out of curiosity, what issues are
there with ML as compared to Lion? Odd that VO works well on the older OS.
