So ok, I have a Mac here running Avericks now and I am just wondering does
anyone know if there is a demoversion available of Protools that I can try to
see how accessible it is with VO?

i believe the demo requires iLok as well, so unless you already have an iLok it
would be hard to try the demo. What i can say is it's quite accessible with VO
on Mavericks.

MIDI notes and such inserting softsynths, and so on?
