delete a fade in of a clip after having consolidated clips (alt-shift-3). I

Yep, once you consolidate, you've created a new file which replaces the old one
in the timeline but it still exists in the session. well, you're in a pickle
now and this will be a lesson for the future. First, I'll explain the lesson

just that’s the problem. Moving the mouse VO-CMD-f5 works at the top and till
the middle of the clip list. But at the bottom of the clip list, VO-CMD-f5
doesn’t perform the wanted action and moves the mouse anywhere instead, to the
menu-bar or to the desktop. Alt- left click doesn’t

I didn’t know this app yet. Thanks for that. I will try this app and see, if
it is possible to move the mouse-pointer from outside Pro Tools to the clip
list, because the VO-command doesn’t seem to work.

Chuck still doesn't understand what you're talking about so don't chase him
down his rabbit hole.
What you want to do is narrow down what's displayed in the clip list. Are you
working with only one track or several tracks? If the name of the track you're
working with is unique,
