Well, the mic pres in the presonus are good, but you did get my other post about the problems with it. They don't make the one I have any more so I can't speak for their newer stuff, but if you have the a/d option on your octa-pre you could use anything with adat optical inputs. MOTU does

Hi, I was searching on line and found several sites selling the digi 003. Depending on what country you live they are not that bad plus they have the moving faders which I can't really see how I could live with out them. Yes you can do edits with out them but I find them very useful. Nick

Hey, if you are going that high=end you might want to look at one of the Avid surface/interfaces. I know the digi 003 is discontinued but they must have something new like that and it would be totally integrated with Pro Tools. In any case, you'll need to get some a/d converters. I have the
