Hi Chad,
Option-clicking applies to all tracks while Option-Shift-clicking applies to
all selected tracks. that goes for routing sends and doing things like muting
tracks and sends.

saved me a bunch of time for sure. Is there a quick way of adding sends on
multiple tracks at once also? I thought maybe if I just selected send A on one

Indeed, it's a feature that is long overdue.

Hi Gary,
I wish that VoiceOver supported modified clicks but, unfortunately, it doesn't.
Yes, one would have to use a track pad for that kind of operation.

Thanks Slau. And, is it possible to shift click with VoiceOver or do
we just do that with the physical mouse?

Hi Brian,
In the Bus tab of the I/O Setup, double-click on the bus name in the table and

Hi Gary,
As long as the tracks are being selected, it doesn't really matter how it's
done, whether it's by using the Track Pad Commander, regular VoiceOver commands
or a control surface, as long as the tracks are selected, the Shift-Option
global command will apply any changes to the selected tr
Can you highlight from the trackpad commander, or do you have to do
the selections in the trackless?

Great, because I definitely have the trackpad on the MBP. So essentially, all
I would do is highlight all of the tracks I want to route, and then go back to
the first track, do the option shift click, and that will bring up the menu to
then route all of the tracks to wherever I want them to go?
Hi Brian,
This will work with any track pad or mouse. The advantage of the track pad
approach is that it's easy to click and keep open the submenu while navigating
with VoiceOver. I don't remember it being as easy with a physical mouse but,
then again, it's been years since I've used a traditio
Guys,
Will this work with a trackpad on a mac book pro? If so, are there any
settings that I need to be aware of before doing this? I know I have my
voiceover setting set correctly for the mouse, but any others to be aware of
before doing this or the solo safe command and other commands like t
Hi Chad,
Glad it worked. Yeah, those pesky dialogs and windows can pop up on you,
literally and, of course, without your knowledge. Cheers,

Slau you are the man! That worked. I guess I had a window open unrelated to

of some tracks because protools is telling me i’m out. lol
thanks again,

Hi Chad,
First, make sure you have no other windows open. Control-Option-f2-f2 and make
sure there's nothing else open that might be blocking the mouse pointer. You
seem to be following the right steps initially. One thing to try is to
double-click rather than single click. I've seen it make a
hello, I am trying to change multiple outputs at once. I am hoping you guys
