A little confused about something. If I have two or more tracks in a
edit group, I had to go to each individual track in order to change
playlists? I don't understand. I am missing something.

How do I make them appear in the edit window? I made an aux track
yesterday and they were exactly where I thought they would be. Then I
inserted a stereo track and instead of of the audio IO I had comments. I
was able to get to the Audio IO when interacting with the track in the
mix window.
When you first create a group, I thought by default that they were
already active so I didn't check. I'll check next time.

Hey Herman,
If I understand your question, you're asking about displaying I/O paths in the
edit window. You can set your preferences for what the Mix and Edit windows
display in the menu bar under the submenu that says something like, Mix Window
Shows… and Edit Window Shows…

True—upon creation, a group is active. Perhaps, for some strange reason, it was
made inactive. Hmm… let's see what you find.

Are they using iLok for PT9 now? I always feel very uncomfortable with taking
it places. If it doesn't get lost or damaged, it is an extremely easy to swipe
target when sticking out of the side of a laptop. If I were showing it at a
trade show, for example, I'd have to have it on the far end of
Yep, iLok has been the standard since 2002. I have my iLok connected to a hub
on the HD system but it's true that with a laptop, it's a bit different. Apart
from the theft issue, I don't keep it hanging off the laptop itself but rather
off of a qwerty keyboard. That said, if it's on a desktop,
As am I, at this point. LOL I usually don't have any I/O settings showing in
the Edit window and, by default, I don't believe I/O is showing in the edit
window. At any rate, I'm not sure why it appears to be inconsistent for you.

Hi
Try hitting page up in the 6 pack.
Sometimes the window gets moved down at least from my sighted friends
observations.
After page up the view gets clearer it seems to pull the track info up..

Good point. Maybe the I/O simply wasn't visible because of a scroll issue.
Again, if the view was set to something like jumbo or extreme or something like
that, it might've hidden something.
