Thanks everyone but to recap my situation the 003 just would not work for both platforms that is the reason I did not struggle on through setting it up. I will either purchased a new mackie and a ProTools upgrade and just go deep in debt and big right here at home. I may do as Matt suggested

Papa would a Mackie help you? You may be able to get rid of the O2 and 03 and get a Mackie like I am doing and use your onyx board. I will keep you posted but you may be like me if it is broke do not fix it. And as I have already said my recording capabilities do not need repair Presonus rocks

Fader flip mode itself simply means that what's normally on the encoders gets shifted down to the faders so it can be send levels, pan or plug-in parameters. In addition to getting into fader flip mode itself, you have to be in the correct focus, whether it's plug-in or pan, send, etc. Hope
