Re: AIR Mini Grand and Structure fixes

2017-11-24 Thread Andrew Will
Thank you so much Slau, this has been a thorn in my side for a long time
and I'm so thrilled to finally have a solution (for Structure, haven't
tried MiniGrand).
Continued thanks.

Re: Track bounce question

2017-11-24 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Martin,

When doing something like this, of course, if it's a continuous file, you can
simply grab a copy of the file from the Audio Files folder or, if there are
several clips, you can bounce from the start of the session or from a given
location, as long as you establish that location so that you can import
directly to that location again. In longer sessions with multiple takes, it's
easier and more accurate to import the file and spot it to the original SMPTE
time stamp and use subframes. In this case, it's probably easier to just bounce
from the top or a predetermined location. You say you've already imported the
audio. Sounds like what happened was that you exported the file, the engineer
perhaps imported it to the original timestamp but might have bounced the file
to include the empty space at the top and when you imported it, the file ended
up being longer than necessary. You can use Tab to Transients to find the start
of the audio in the original and then use Tab to Transients to move to the same
transient in the imported file and match the two.
Hope that helps,
slau

RE: Track bounce question

2017-11-24 Thread Phil Muir
Well if you are happy with the data in the wav file of the vocal track,
simply navigate to the Audio Files folder inside the name of the session
folder and copy the wave file out. You can then re import it later once the
clicks have been removed.

Hello all!

Having a vocal track with some unwanted clicks an audio engineer is willing
to remove that clicks.

What is the most common way to export / bounce that single track out of a
session for external editing and reimporting again.

Thanks for your help and regards! / Martin
