If there really is no work around at the current time, and you need this to work, you may have to roll the machine back to sierra. I had a tech ready to do mine if the import problem did not go away.I was lucky it worked for me. I hope it does not come back. Good luck. what is avid saying

Yeah, the High Sierra compatibility is iffy. Using the current version of Pro Tools has alleviated the problem for some but, again, since it hasn't been approved yet, it's not guaranteed to work. Not sure what the alternative is, given the technical incompatibility. I guess it's a lesson in
