I just asked about this in the What'sapp group the other day, and Slau told me that at this time, Avid doesn't yet officially certify ProTools to work with High Sierra. Keep in mind, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work. It just means it's not officially supported. At this time, I

As I said, I'm sure Pro Tools will run on an I5 machine. For that matter, it runs on a Core 2 duo. I simply pointed out the specification which was interesting. > On Dec 12, 2017, at 8:17 PM, Christopher-Mark Gilland > wrote: > > Slau, > > I have a mac mini mid 2012,

Slau, I have a mac mini mid 2012, and it's got OSX 10.12 Sierra, and is running ProTools 12.8.2 with an I5. Everything seems to be running just fine here with 8 GB ram. Now, granted, I don't do massive symphony based sessions, or things that have a hundred gazillian tracks in it, LOL! but

I've always been one to try and max out a system whenever buying a new computer. I was just looking at some compatibility info and was surprised to learn that, technically, Pro Tools 12.8.x requires an I7 processor. Now that probably means that it'll surely run on an I5 but Avid clearly

There are no text-based tutorials for using Pro Tools with VoiceOver. For the most part, a VoiceOver user uses Pro Tools in the same way a sighted user would use Pro Tools. The difference is that rather using a mouse, one navigates and interacts using VoiceOver commands. Rather than using the
