Re: Clear all automation

2018-03-01 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Niklas,
Actually, you need to switch the Track View Selector to the type of automation
you wish to edit or delete and just select the range and use standard editing
commands. Remember to switch back to waveform display if you want to edit audio.
Hope that helps,
Slau

Clear all automation

Hi guys,

Just a quick question:
How do I clear all automation on a track with Voiceover?

I've tried searching for it but it is mostly click and drag-solutions.

Best,
Niklas

Hi all:

I know that my message subject is so big, but of cores, all i need is some
hence, not the hole subject:
1- i searched over and over to be able to change the recording modes but i
failed in doing that.
I need to change from nondestructive to anything else, how can i do that?
2- I’ma keyboard player and some times i need to record for myself, so, when
using Sonar, i can just press r to record even if this audio track contains
audio, it will not delete while recording.
let’s say i need to record from bar20, i will press record from bar18 and i
willl listen then start playing in bar 20, but when am using protools, when
pressing the record, all data that was recorded disappear or i can not listen
to it.
is there a way to do this?
3- if i recorded something, and i need to change it’s pitch just 1 half, a
sited person shows me the elastic . but seems that it’s not accessible?
i went to the track and set it’s elastic option to polyphonic, then i can not
change tones, etc.

sorry for all my questions but really, am new and hope to find answers.

Thanks in advance

AutoTune has traditionally been quite accessible. I haven't tried the latest

Re: Recording

2018-03-01 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Ramy,
If you're talking about merging new MIDI data with a previously recorded part
on the same track, what you want is MIDI Merge to be enabled. You can either
open the Transport window with Command Num Pad 1 and navigate to the MIDI Merge
button or, in the Edit window, navigate to the Transport cluster as long as you
have it set to be displayed and get to the same control. Or you can do it the
easy way by pressing Num Pad 9 to toggle MIDI Merge if you're using Transport
mode on the num pad, which you probably are. With Flo Tools, you can report the
MIDI Merge status with Option Num Pad 9 and toggle it with a double tap.
Elastic Audio is mildly accessible but that's for audio not MIDI.
HTH,
Slau
