Re: Stereo and Mono tracks

2018-03-10 Thread Steve Martin
This triggered a memory of something I heard about on the ProTools Experts
podcast a couple years back. It took some googling to remember the actual name
and track down the company’s site. Anyways, Stereo Monoizer sounds like the
quick way to do this. Not sure if there is a demo version you can try out or
not.

Well, there you go: a bug. File it with Avid. It hasn't happened for me but it

Re: Stereo and Mono tracks

2018-03-10 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Ramy,
sighted users instantly recognize whether a track is stereo or mono. Blind
users generally either have to look at whether there's one pan knob or two. Flo
Tools makes that easy. There's no way to transform a stereo track to mono other
than splitting it and deleting the original stereo and one of the mono tracks.

Re: My first encounter with the Avid Update Manager

2018-03-10 Thread Slau Halatyn
Steve,
Rather than an off-list conversation about this, I'm responding on the PT
Access list because others can benefit from your question and possible answer.
So, once you've clicked on the plug-ins tab, press page down several times.
Navigate with VoiceOver to the White Boost plug-in and do a mouse click with VO
shift Space. Of course, make sure the mouse is either following the VoiceOver
cursor or manually route it before clicking. Do the same for the other
plug-ins, although you might have to page up once for the Green JRC. It depends
on which plugs you have in your account. Hope that helps,
Slau

Hi all:

i need to know if i can discover that this track is stereo or mono?
i picked a session from 1 of my friends, and he made all the tracks stereo,

mono or stereo?
also, if i will split this track to mono, will i destroy any of it’s sounds? i
mean is there another way of changing stereo track to mono track, other than
splitting to 2 mono tracks?
Thanks
and excuse me for asking this, because in sonar, i can convert Stereo track to

Re: Audient Id14

Hi Ronald,

I have an ID14 for mobile work when I'm away from the studio.

Its a fantastic sounding unit, however none of its software routing functions
will be accessible to you.

If you plan on monitoring levels through protools though it may serve your
needs just fine.
