Pro Tools doesn't need to be connected to the Internet to work. It simply needs
to see a license which is either on your iLok or, if you're using iLok Cloud,
then you'd need Internet access.

It's possible that the track is in solo safe mode. I'd check that first. For
what it's worth, you can use Flo Tools to tell you if there are any tracks
either soloed or in solo safe. To turn off solo safe, Command-click the solo
button. If you don't have a control surface, you can enable Flo
Good morning this may have already been discussed but I would appreciate
some feedback how do I stop ProTools from having to access the Internet
before it will allow me to use it thanks a lot

Morning Slau! I get the latch and s/r functions. However, there is
this other option, SIP "solo in place" which stays checked no matter
what I do. My problem is that a particular track stays solo and
unsoloed whether it is selected or not. The tracks I'm actually
selecting and soloing are not
I sympathize with the slight trepidation whenever confronted by an unfamiliar

Hi Slau,
Licences have all now been moved to my Ilok dongle, thanks.
All straight forward in the end. It’s just when you see a dialogue box with
text you suddenly think am I doing the right thing!

Hello friends on the list.
I have a question, especially it is directed to work with Protools and Logic
Pro X.
Between these two control surfaces, which one can be more suitable for these
two DWAS?
Presonus faderport 16 or Avid Artist.
Thanks from Barcelona Spain.
Best, Jose.

I don't have time to check the language right now but, basically, you want to
stop your cloud session. When you do this, all licenses simply reside in your
account and can then be authorized to a key. If you haven't used a key before,
all of your licenses would either be authorized to either
Latching means whatever you solo will remain soloed. The "X or" option cancels
previous solos so you only hear one thing unless you add Shift while pressing
solo to add to the solo.

Hi,
I am in the process of moving my Pro Tools licence from Ilok Cloud to an
Ilock dongle and just wanted to check a couple of things if anyone could
clarify the procedure.
Slau your demo on using Ilok manager was great and I have successfully
registered my new Ilok dongle but before I
