Yes, normally this wouldn't be required but, if one is having trouble, it's a
workaround.

Then, I've got Embertone's Joshua Bell Violin on the 2nd track also with

a 2TB solid state drive, if I bounce, things are 99.9 percent there,

changing the piano to the American Concert D through Ivory, and also had
this issue. I even tried with the free Kawaii X Player library, and had
it. Hammersmith Free is doing it too. The violin seems to be fine, but
yeah, the piano is not for some reason. The odd thing is, now after moving
things to that SSD, in Logic, it's not giving me this issue, nor is it in
Reaper. It's only happening in PT. So, yes, I did read the guide, and go
through the included audio. I may have missed something, as there was a
boatload of material covered, and I'll definitely go back and review
bouncing audio, but is there something in the bounce dialog pertaining to
making sure it doesn't cut off tails from my audio?

Oddly, if I end with a sustained arpegio chord, even that's cutting off
prematurely, and not fully ringing through. Yeah, both tracks are selected

 fix it.

If the "Import After Bounce" checkbox in the Location area is checked, it'll

Re: Don't shoot the messenger! Pweez? Houston, we've gotta small problem with bouncing.

2022-06-15 Thread Rory McDonald
I believe another alternative to this that will work fine is recording the
piano to the midi / instrument track, then committing that track to audio and
bouncing from there. Thats normally how I work with virtual instruments and
have never had a problem. Never really used that specific piano you mentioned,
though. But I use kk rather frequently.
Hope this helps.

Re: Don't shoot the messenger! Pweez? Houston, we've gotta small problem with bouncing.

2022-06-15 Thread jimmie smith
Let me see if I can explain this without screwing it up too bad. I had the same
problem. I got on the KK list, and Andre told me how to fix it. Sometimes when
you bounce using complete control, things just don’t work out quite right. The
only way I found to fix this is to record the track in real time. In other
words, if you have a piano on your instrument track, you need to set it so that
it goes to another audio track. What I mean is create a new audio track named
piano. Go to your instrument track and set its output to piano. Go to your
piano track and said it’s input to your instrument track. Both tracks need to
be armed, then record. There will be no need to bounce since you were already
recording to that audio track. That will solve your problem. Also, the track
that you are recording to needs to be in stereo. For some reason, this will
only work if the audio track is in stereo. Then, if you want to bounce that
stereo track to mono, you would do it the same way you normally would bounce a
track.
