Pedal steel is very useable. It's important to read the manual to understand
its functionality and refer to notes on key switches below

Pedal Steel Key Switches

Articulation in red keys:
Normal is B flat above highest note
Harmonic is B
Fret Position in purple keys:
Lowest is C
Medium Low is C sharp
Medium is D
Medium High is E flat
High is E
Closest is F

Upward is F sharp
Downward is G
Shortest is A flat
is A

Moving down, 1 octave below the lowest B note, Tonic goes from B down to C with
orange keys.
Voice Mode is right below in blue keys:
Polyphonic Legato is A
Polyphonic is B flat
Harmonized Monophonic is B

Accessibility in the play ability of pedal steel by impact SoundWorks

2022-12-04 Thread Alex Coleman
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using the pedal
steel instrument by impact sound works, and if so, how would you rate its
accessibility level?
I would assume that in order to create custom harmony mapping‘s, one might need
sighted assistance.
However, I was wondering if we would be able to adjust parameters such as the
key of the song, and other values using KK?
Looking forward to hearing good news from someone on this instrument. Thanks
again.
