Hi Slau, Yes it brings up a contextual menu but VoiceOver just says "interface sub menu 32 items" at this point and will keep saying this for ever unless you poke around with the mouse with out voiceover feed back. And by chance you get a arbitrary selection where ever the mouse lands on! L

Chuck, Are you saying that clicking a mouse pointer while you're focused on the input selector doesn't bring up a contextual menu for you? It absolutely does for me every time, in Pro Tools 9 as well as version 8.0.4. I'll venture to guess that you have the mouse pointer following the VoiceOver

Hi Slau, I followed every step you listed but the only way it works on my mac pro running 10.6.4 and using PT 8.1 is to get a contextual menu on the desired input or output.. May be PT 9 is a bit different? Buy the way "command option" to increment the track order still does not work with y

Chuck, The option modifier does, in fact, work. Here are the exact steps I used to achieve this result: 1. Create 3 new audio tracks in a blank session. 2. Move focus into the second track in the Mix window. 3. Interact with the track and move down to the input assignment. It should say somethi
