I don’t have the name because it is literally called “Apple keyboard with num
pad.” It is the one with two USB ports, has a num pad, and costs $50. If you
can’t find it in the Apple store for some reason, try www.bestbuy.com

Hi,
I am putting things together so we can start recording again. At this point, I
have ILok on the way, PT is downloaded and partially installed, and I have the
Apple keyboard. The only thing left is to pick up the Saffire pro 24. At this
point, I am using the Full sized Apple keyboard. Only
Can someone please give me the name of a Apple keyboard so I cam buy it
from the apple online-shop? many thanks,
Patrick

Hi
Yes a full keyboard is highly recommended to have the number pad. What you can
do if a full Apple keyboard does not fit in your budget right now, buy a
different brand full size USB keyboard for a fraction of the price of a Apple
one. That’s what I did until I could afford to buy a Apple
I have to look hard at my budget. It is sort of getting stretched before
everything on the list is accounted for. Is a full sized Apple keyboard
required to completely use PT, or is it something you can get by without
until a later date?

Mark this date down because it's probably one of the few times I'll
whole-heartedly agree with Chuck: just go buy the Apple keyboard. It's fifty
dollars. Invest in your productivity and minimize variables and workarounds.
Plug it in and it just works exactly as it should.
