Well, there you go: a bug. File it with Avid. It hasn't happened for me but it
might have happened for others.

Steve,
Rather than an off-list conversation about this, I'm responding on the PT
Access list because others can benefit from your question and possible answer.
So, once you've clicked on the plug-ins tab, press page down several times.
Navigate with VoiceOver to the White Boost plug-in and do a mouse click with VO
shift Space. Of course, make sure the mouse is either following the VoiceOver
cursor or manually route it before clicking. Do the same for the other
plug-ins, although you might have to page up once for the Green JRC. It depends
on which plugs you have in your account. Hope that helps,
Slau

Re: My first encounter with the Avid Update Manager

2018-03-09 Thread Slau Halatyn
I've done a couple of demonstrations on the WhatsApp group but those haven't
been sorted yet. The thing to remember is that you need to click with the mouse
rather than just VO Space. The tabs are oriented up and down along the left
side. Also, when going through a tab like plug-ins, where there might be dozens
of items, VoiceOver will see the entire list but what's actually scrolled into
view may be entirely different so, if clicking on an item doesn't yield the
expected result, you usually have to page down once or twice or however many
times based on the number of products you might have. That's it in a very small
nutshell. Every so often, upon launching the Application Manager, you'll have
to log in. Move to the first edit field and turn off VoiceOver. Enter the user
name, press tab and then enter your password and press Return. Turn on
VoiceOver again and you should be logged in. If you see your email address in
the window, you're successfully logged in.
HTH,
Slau
