Hi Martin,
There used to be an uninstall application but, for some reason, they did away 
with it. If you delete the application, that doesn’t remove all Pro 
Tools-related files. There are a bunch and, while they don’t necessarily have 
to be removed if you wish to install a new version of Pro Tools, I understand 
that one might want to remove absolutely everything. I’d start by trashing the 
Pro tools folder within the Documents folder. I’d probably go into Library 
under Application Support, find the avid folder and trash it. There are some 
preference files but they’re probably OK to just leave. You might want to do a 
Google search for the subject to find more info but those steps should work if 
you want to clean out a bit more than just the application.
