Re: clean uninstall
Hi Martin, There used to be an uninstall application but, for some reason, they did away with it. If you delete the application, that doesn’t remove all Pro Tools-related files. There are a bunch and, while they don’t necessarily have to be removed if you wish to install a new version of Pro Tools, I understand that one might want to remove absolutely everything. I’d start by trashing the Pro tools folder within the Documents folder. I’d probably go into Library under Application Support, find the avid folder and trash it. There are some preference files but they’re probably OK to just leave. You might want to do a Google search for the subject to find more info but those steps should work if you want to clean out a bit more than just the application. Re: clean uninstall
Hi again!“ Is trashing only the PT app file enough? What further files and folders should be deleted to have a clean uninstall? Thanks! / Martin Am 13.10.2016 um 14:57 schrieb Martin (Punky) Sopart: hi all. what is the best way for a clean uninstall of pt 12.4.0, 12.5.2 and pt 12.6.0 thanks and best regards! / Martin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
