Re: New Waves Central a leap forward
It works with version 10 plugins as well, but not with 9. I went ahead and purchased the update plan as the older Waves stuff won't be compatible with 10.15.On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 12:53:29 PM UTC-4, John André Lium-Netland wrote: > Thanks for the heads up, do you have to upgrade your plugins to Waves version > 11 to experience a more accessible interface, or will this work with version > 10 as well?? > > > > > > On 29 Oct 2019, at 17:19, Jesse Kragiel wrote: > > > As the subject says, the new Waves Central manager is a leap forward in > accessibility when compared to any prior version. Thanks for the heads up, do you have to upgrade your plugins to Waves version 11 to experience a more accessible interface, or will this work with version 10 as well?? New Waves Central a leap forward
As the subject says, the new Waves Central manager is a leap forward in accessibility when compared to any prior version. I launched it, and immediately was frustrated because the EULA screen would not allow any navigation. I figured, business as usual, but my niece was in the room, so she clicked the button, and I was surprised to be greeted with a typical web view which allowed me to navigate and press elements on the screen using typical VO commands. If only Waves could figure out how to make its toolbars accessible all across the board! I have used VOCR to successfully use the toolbar in some of the plugins, but not all. Either get some eyes on it locally or contact waves support and have them remote into your system and do the installation and authorization. While the plug ins themselves are pretty useable inside the DAW once installed unfortunately the installation and authorization process isn’t. BTW which plugs did you pick up. > On Mar 3, 2018, at 7:36 AM, Samuel Wilkins wrote: > > Hello all, I just got some waves plug-ins and I would like to download them > for use with ProTools. Problems with Waves Central
Hello all, I just got some waves plug-ins and I would like to download them for use with ProTools. However, to do this, I need to install waves central. I clicked on waves central installer, and managed to get it to say I wanted it to run. However, when going through the waves central window, all it says is image and text. How can I access waves central to install and activate my plug-ins? Thank you. -- Regards, Samuel Wilkins -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
