Dear all,

There are some questions I'd like to ask.

First thing is more a remark than a question. I tried to build several
toolchains around the powerpc.
powerpc-603e-linux-gnu_gcc-4.3.2_glibc-2.8_binutils-2.18_kernel-2.6.27-sanitized.ptxconfig
 builds without problems.
after a kernel version bump to 2.6.37 I got an error as described in this [1]
thread. The solution for me was to use ptxdist-2010.08.0. For both steps I used
the stable branch of the toolchain (1.99.x).

Some more attempts where made with the master branch. I tried
powerpc-603e-linux-gnu_gcc-4.4.0_glibc-2.9_binutils-2.19.1_kernel-2.6.29-sanitized.ptxconfig;

powerpc-603e-linux-gnu_gcc-4.4.0_glibc-2.9_binutils-2.19.1_kernel-2.6.37-sanitized.ptxconfig
 and
powerpc-603e-linux-uclibc_gcc-4.4.0_uclibc-0.9.30.3_binutils-2.19.1_kernel-2.6.37-sanitized.ptxconfig
 with several versions of ptxdist. But all of them ended up in the ld-error.
