There was a ptxdist-1.99.19.1 release that included a bugfix related to X. I think there were some keyboard related problems without this. > But, when I try to execute the X server, I have the following error: > > # > startx > hostname: PhiLinuxStation: Unknown > host > /usr/bin/startx: line 141: /usr/bin/mcookie: No such file or > directory > Couldn't create cookie > > The problem is that I couldn't find at ptxdist's menu the location of > the mcookie. > > I tried using utils-linux, but I couldn't find mcookie at the submenu. > > I would like to ask for some help on this issue... or find another way > to launch X in my board. I pushed a bugfix to the git master repository [1], that allows you to install mcookie. The patch should apply to ptxdist-1.99.19. Or you could start X with xinit.
