Without --start log is below. It says there are no modules. Where they are
supposed to come from? Maybe FreeBSD port builds it wrong?

Pulseaudio doesn't seem to even try to load any modules. Does
/etc/pulse/default.pa exist? If it does, what are its contents? That file
should contain a bunch of load-module commands.
