I have a similar thing I do sometimes. I log on to my server from the laptop to run a music player on the server and I want the sound output on the laptop. I tried streaming directly back over the ssh connection, but I couldn't get it to not stutter. But running a temporary pulseaudio on the serve

Hello, I'm the guy who tried to PA -> old ESD. Well everything is fresh as a daisy PulseAudio. I still can't figure it out. You might remember the situation, "I am wanting to send sound from my Proliant application server to an old client X box." Both computers are fresh Gentoo/Pulseaudio 0.9.
