Bug #19903: SPF soft-fail for emails from the application
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/19903#change-102601

* Author: Ken Barber
* Status: Closed
* Priority: Low
* Assignee: Kelsey Hightower
* Category:
* Target version:
* Keywords:
* Branch:
----------------------------------------
Looking at the headers of an email I received from the CLA application:

Received-SPF: softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning
nore...@puppetlabs.com does not designate 66.228.49.237 as permitted
sender) client-ip=66.228.49.237;
Authentication-Results: mx.google.com;
       spf=softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning
nore...@puppetlabs.com does not designate 66.228.49.237 as permitted
sender) smtp.mail=nore...@puppetlabs.com

While its only a soft-fail, some remote SMTP systems might consider it
potential spam and flag it, and we may find we lose some email.
