Issue #16012 has been updated by Charlie Sharpsteen.
Redmine Issue [#16012](http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/16012) has been migrated to JIRA: <https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/MCO-47> ---------------------------------------- Bug #16012: puppetlabs' mcollective init script differs from ubuntu's https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/16012#change-101426 * Author: Christian McHugh * Status: Investigating * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Keywords: * Branch: * Affected mCollective version: ---------------------------------------- Ran into an issue with mcollective starting on ubuntu when upgrading from the puppetlabs apt repo. It turns out that the ubuntu package uses upstart which requires a "daemonize = 0" line in server.cfg. Since the puppetlabs package just uses init scripts that line needs to be changed to "daemonize = 1". It would be nice if the puppetlabs package could ship an init script on ubuntu to remove this difference. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
