Issue #22999 has been updated by eric sorenson.

Status changed from Accepted to Needs More Information
Assignee changed from eric sorenson to Klaus Wagner
Target version changed from 3.4.0 to 3.5.0

Untargeting from 3.4.0 since we are code-complete on that release. This one
fell through the cracks in-between JIRA and Redmine.

Klaus could you please answer Mike's question above, to help us verify the fix?

I’ve put this ticket’s status into “Needs more Information” and assigned it to
you. Please either (a) update it with the information I’ve requested and
re-assign it to me if you need more help, or (b) change the status to “Closed”
if you were able to resolve the issue on your own.

Bug #22999: Service Provider 'init' does not detect correct location for script
directory on AIX - Patch included
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/22999#change-100237

* Author: Klaus Wagner
* Status: Needs More Information
* Priority: Normal
* Assignee: Klaus Wagner
* Category: provider
* Target version: 3.5.0
* Affected Puppet version: development
* Keywords:
* Branch: master
----------------------------------------
The correct directory for init scripts on aix is '/etc/rc.d/init.d'

This has not been implemented in the 'init' service provider.

The fix is very simple (2 lines of code). The attached fix is derived from the
github/puppetlabs/puppet master branch.
