It sounds like Larissa will handle this, and we are not really intending to do anything when new PO files land. The binary MO files will probably be built as part of the vanagon build step, and not checked into the repo. But this is still under investigation/discussion. If the credentials stored by transifex are compromised what is our risk exposure? what are the specific access rights bestowed by said credentials? (ie push to one github repo? all repos? admin?) Pretty bad, I think. The credentials in question have to have write access, that's how they work. It would be to a lot of our core repositories since that's where we're doing translation. Larissa Lane probably has the list of them. Are there options available to us to reduce that risk? ex: create an account with access to a fork only and then automate creation of a PR? ex: create an account with limited rights (is this possible?) Someone could hack together something to shuttle changes between a fork and the original repo, totally. Might be a little of a hassle? Likewise automating PRs or whatever. The existing service isn't going to do it.
