Title: Message Title Kael Oisinson created an issue Puppet / PUP-7780 Enhance the Redhat provider to check for SysV-style init script to determine whether the "service" or "systemctl" should be used for an service. Issue Type: Improvement Affects Versions: PUP 5.0.0 Assignee: Unassigned Created: 2017/07/14 3:15 PM Priority: Normal Reporter: Kael Oisinson Currently the Redhat provider only calls "service" when interacting with services even with "systemd". Sysv init scripts require "systemctl" to be used. It would save customer effort if the Redhat provider checked for a SysV-style init script to determine whether the "service" or "systemctl" should be used for an service. Add Comment
