if i run ubiquity from the livecd would I get a good installation? i mean the livecd works way faster than the standard ubuntu install I have. I want to know if I would get the same settings as in the liveCD or the standard Ubuntu by using this method. I tried to run ubiquity like this $

I tried to run ubiquity like this $ ubiquity --desktop %k gtk_ui ...and what? It worked? It didn't work? just had some time to test it (with ubiquity is so fast to install) alll seems fine so far but the wifi connection, i dont get but eth0 . Boot time is damm quick ---
