I'll try it.
Maybe it's related to your migrations problem ?
Will test ...
Seems that fixed the issue - great.
Many thanks to Stefan and Alexandre!

Hi,
I have finally have migration problem with qemu 2.2.
But only with windows guest vm. (tested around 200linux vms without any

Can reproduce 100%
from any host (intel, amd) to any host (intel, amd).

Is that enough to have it at target or is it also need at source?

random failures with live migration and snapshots, mostly on slow/older
hardware.
Could you define slow and older more specific?
I have a reproducable problem on a host with:
AMD Athlon(tm
don't have problem here,
I have migrate a lot of debian guest (kernel 3.7), and win2012/2008.
I'm runing kernel 3.10 on host.
So the situation is better than expected. Nevertheless, we cannot release
code with reproducible bugs to stable repositories.
So the update from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3
also with kernel 2.6.32, I has problem of migration from opteron 63XX to
opteron 61XX
(qemu 2.1 and qemu 2.2)

Is this only happening using ide or is it a general thing?

Seems a general problem.
But I also have problem with snapshots on total different hardware.
