Its pretty straight forward. If you have 6TB and you are using size =
3 in ceph - you have 2TB (give or take) of usable storage.

Hi all,
i am playing with Ceph and some thinks i dont understand.
The Proxmox docu tells how to setup easily - everthinks is working.
But i want to understand how the Recplication and Redundancy works.
I Setup 3 SSD OSDs ans created a Pool with Size 3 and Mn Size 2
Proxmox tells me the
seems to be :-(
but should not be a big deal to copy all files ;)

LVM on it's own has nothing to do with HA. You are right, you can put LVM on
top of DRBD, but this doesn't make it
easier to create and maintain a cluster. You just use a different storage
technique for your VMs.
But as you sure may know, do not create a two node cluster, as you need three
Actually, I need to know if with LVM-Thin is easier to make two node HA, or
if this is not to do with HA at all
If I am not wrong, I remember that with DRBD9 we can build a two node
cluster HA
Perhaps this is the case with LVM-Thin...

Hi Gilberto,
do you mean LVM-thin? But that has nothing to do with HA or do you think about
something else?
Cheers,
Alwin

Hi Lindsay,
in case you didn't think about this already. ;-)
Are there any container config differences between the ubuntu and the debian
containers?
The default timeout and retry for dhclient is 60sec, how long do you wait til
you connect to the prompt?
How does your bridge setup (network
seen that too, I would appear that it is not implemented yet in LXC?

Maybe it depends on LXC/KVM image? I just use lxc at

I've recreated the CT several times, I presume that would have done it.
